55 YEARS LATER & STILL CELEBRATING!

The Class of 1971 recently marked an incredible milestone, celebrating their 55th reunion with a fantastic two-day celebration!

Here is a look back at their unforgettable weekend:

FRIDAY NIGHT: Grad Night

The Cavaliers gathered right back where it all started—in the De La Salle High School of New Orleans Lobby! It was the perfect chance to reconnect with old friends and see how much our campus has grown.

SATURDAY NIGHT: The Big Celebration

The party moved to Southport Hall Live Music & Party Hall, where even more classmates and guests joined the fun! The room was packed with great food, drinks, and the absolute best music hits from the late ‘60s and early ‘70s.

THANK YOU to the dedicated event chairpeople and to everyone who traveled near and far to make this weekend so unforgettable!

Hard to believe, but your 60th reunion in 2031 will be here before you know it!

Class of 1976: Our Newest Golden Cavaliers!

50th Reunion

50 YEARS OF THE CLASS OF 1976

The De La Salle Class of 1976 officially cemented their status as Golden Cavaliers during an unforgettable 50th Reunion weekend!

From start to finish, the Cavalier camaraderie was unmatched. Here is how the Golden Cavaliers celebrated a half-century of memories:

Founder’s Day Kickoff: The weekend started back on campus with a school tour, a beautiful Mass, the official conferring of Golden Diplomas, and a celebratory lobby reception.

Grad Night: The party moved to the alum-owned Monkey Hill Bar, where old stories and laughs kept rolling.

The Main Event: On Saturday, classmates gathered at the Southern Yacht Club for an incredible night of delicious cuisine, drinks, and 70s hits keeping everyone on the dance floor!

Details: Personalized G.O.A.T. koozies and a custom G.O.A.T. cake kept the class theme alive all weekend long.

A HUGE Thank You to our incredible committee chairpeople! Your hard work made this weekend a success.

The Class of 1986 recently proved that time flies when you’re having fun! Our ‘86ers gathered for an incredible two-night 40th Reunion celebration.

Friday kicked off on The Avenue in the De La Salle Lobby. Alums loved walking the halls of their Alma Mater and catching up on campus. On Saturday, the party moved to the alum-owned Tchoup Yard. It was a full house of Cavaliers sharing stories, laughing over old memories, and snapping plenty of new photos!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing reunion chairpeople for organizing such a memorable weekend. It was so great to see everyone back together!

20th Reunion

20 YEARS LATER: THE BOND REMAINS.

The Class of 2006 returned home recently to celebrate their 20th Reunion, and it was more than just a party—it was a homecoming for a class like no other.

As the “Katrina Class,” these Cavaliers share a history that is truly unique. Their last time all together was at their Ring Mass, just days before the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans.

While the storm scattered them across the country, their connection to each other and to De La Salle never broke. DLS was the first high school to open its doors after the storm, serving as a beacon of hope and welcoming students from all over the city.
