Crescent City Sports has live stream of De La Salle-St. James Friday night

As the high school football regular season reaches Week 8, Crescent City Sports features a live video stream of a key District 10-3A matchup Friday night.

Two of the league’s three unbeatens, De La Salle and St. James, face off in Vacherie, with Crescent City Sports’ webcast beginning just prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff. Matt Sims and Don Rodrigue will call the action.

The Cavaliers (4-2) and the Wildcats (5-2) are both 2-0 in 10-3A – winning their district games by a combined 161-21 – to join St. Charles Catholic atop the league standings. In the latest Crescent City Sports Class 3A rankings, De La Salle is fifth and St. James is sixth.

Since the two teams moved into the same district prior to the 2015 season, the Cavaliers have won all three meetings.

The District 10-3A title will be decided over the final three weeks of the season. De La Salle plays host to St. Charles Catholic Oct. 26 at Yulman Stadium – a game that is part of the Crescent City Sports Rivalry Series on Cox Sports Television – while SCC and St. James face off on Nov. 2.

Crescent City Sports will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2018-19 school year. Additionally, in cooperation with Cox Sports Television, CCS will also produce up to 10 more events that will both be televised on CST and streamed on the site. http://ow.ly/D4HO30miSce
