Track Dominates at St. Martins Invitational

This Friday evening the boys track team competed at St. Martin High School. The team came away with the unofficial (team statistics were not tabulated) overall win. Some of the highlights were Danshawn Jenkins throwing a career best 154 feet in the Javelin for first place. Cleo Tirado in his first year competing in the Pole Vault performed a career best 7 1/2 feet for second place and took first in the 2 mile. Aspen Rodriquez long jumped 19 feet for first place. Hunter Stansberry finished first in the mile.  Brody Taylor had a career best time of 45 in the 300 meter hurdles.
The girls track team also performed well with Christiana Ellard and Sade Lewis finishing first and second respectively in the girls 200. The girls 4×100 relay team consisting of Christiana Ellard, Payton Nisby, Sade Lewis and Joi Johnson took first place. Payton Nisby finished second in the girls 400.
