Letter from the Principal

March, 2017

Dear Parents:

I sincerely hope that you and your family have enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable Mardi Gras break!  We resume classes at our regular time on Monday, March 6th, and our third quarter exams are just two weeks away.  Many important events are happening this month, and I have highlighted several of these.

BASKETBALL TEAM HEADS TO LAKE CHARLES, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8th
Congratulations to our boys’ basketball team for reaching the state semi-finals in the Division II state basketball tournament.  The team plays this Wednesday at 4:45 pm in Lake Charles.  All students are invited to attend, and we are organizing fan buses for transportation.  It will cost students $12.00 to ride the bus and $10.00 to buy a ticket into the game.  Permission slips were sent out via text and are available on edline and on the website.  We hope many of you are able to make the trip and support the team!  Please contact our front desk at 504.895.5717 if you have questions.

JUNIOR RETREAT, FRIDAY, MARCH 10th
Our next junior retreat of the year will again take place on Loyola’s campus.  Students have been alerted as to their groups, and permission slips are located on the website and on edline.  Any questions should be directed to Mr. Tony Behan, our Campus Minister, at [email protected], or Mr. Justin Martineau, at [email protected].
