Homerunning Week Charity – 2 Seam Dream Foundation

De La Salle has partnered with the 2 Seam Dream Foundation as its charity for this years Homerunning Week Charity.  During the week we will have a grade level challenge coin drive benefitting the Two Seam Dream Foundation entitled “Change the Course of Cancer.”  The overall winning grade level from coin drive and attendance challenges for both the softball game versus Lusher on Monday March 25th 4:00 PM at Carrollton Riverview and the baseball game versus McMain on Tuesday March 26th 7:00 PM at Kirsch Rooney Stadium will receive a special prize.  All proceeds from both the softball and baseball games will also go to the Two Seam Dream Foundation.  There will also be raffles at both games.
President and founder of the 2 Seam Dream Foundation Rick Greene will be in attendance at the baseball game versus McMain.  Greene, who was a member of LSUs fist national championship team in 1991 and pitched in the 1992 Olympics for the USA and in Major League Baseball, will throw out the first pitch prior to the game.  He will also be present at the pre-game tailgate party at Kirsch Rooney sharing the vision of the 2 Seam Dream Foundation.

The 2 Seam Dream Foundation was founded in March of 2012 and raises money for both cancer research and treatment in Louisiana.
