Faculty Spotlight, Ana Garcia

Ana Garcia started her career at De La Salle as a Guidance Counselor in 2006. During that time Ana has also served as the head cross country coach. Through her kindness, generosity, and tireless service to our students, Ana is the embodiment of what it means to be Lasallian.

“Simply put, our school could not function as it does without Ms. Garcia. She is our guidance counselor, and her serenity and patience make all of our students feel appreciated and important. Ms. Garcia is a person who is always willing to lend a hand, always willing to do more than her fair share.  She is a complete professional, and she brings a positive attitude and spirit to her day to day responsibilities.”–Paul Kelly ’83, Principal
Ana attended Loyola University of New Orleans where she earned her B.A. in communications and sociology and her M.S. in clinical counseling. Ana is a certified personal trainer, and she spends her free time training clients. In addition, Ana spends her time helping the local Hispanic community.
