NOLA.COM: Mallory Hefner leads De La Salle to straight-set win over Thomas Jefferson

De La Salle improved to 5-10 on the season with a straight-set victory over Thomas Jefferson Tuesday night. The Cavs won, 25-19, 25-11, 25-10.

Mallory Hefner was a force for De La Salle, recording seven kills, 10 digs and an ace. Jordan Rankins had eight kills, while Joi Johnson had seven kills in addition to three aces. Madeline Salmon and Hailey Sellers combined for 15 digs.

Traylynn Coleman had five kills, while Danielle Sullen had a match-high 16 assists for Thomas Jefferson.
