De La Salle High School
De La Salle High School is seeking a president for the 62 year old Catholic, Lasallian institution, located in Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana, near the University area. The school is co-educational and offers grades eight through twelve. The president reports directly to a Board of Trustees and is the sole employee of the Board. The president oversees the principal, chief financial officer, director of institutional advancement and facilities director.
The candidate should be a proven fund-raiser with experience in budgeting and financial management and should have demonstrated success as a servant-leader. The ideal applicant will have a master’s degree or greater in an educational or business related field and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The president should have a passion for educating youth. A background in Lasallian or Catholic secondary education is highly desirable but not required.
