The New Orleans Quarterback Club hosted its end of the year Awards Banquet and Anthony Thomas was formally recognized as the player of the week for week 8 and his performance versus Lusher. Anthony rushed for 195 yards, three touchdowns , and two two-point conversions on offense; and on defense had eight tackles and two interceptions, one of which he ran back for a touchdown.
Anthony was also selected to the All-District Team as both a running back and a defensive back.
Anthony Thomas was also selected as Honorable Mention on the 2011 Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 3A All State Football Team as both a running back and a defensive back.
