Office of the Principal

May, 2018

Dear Parents:
It is hard to believe, but there are only three and a half weeks remaining until the official end of the 2017-18 school year!  As our students become more and more excited about the approaching end of school, we ask that you continue to partner with us to keep your student disciplined and focused as we move toward final exams.  It is an exciting time for all of us, and we anticipate a smooth end to a tremendous year.

SCHEDULES FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
Parents, signed course schedules are to be turned in tomorrow, the 2nd of May.  Please know that these schedules are tentative.  Final schedules will be mailed home in early July.

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS:  SERVICE HOURS FOR THE 17-18 SCHOOL YEAR
Please be reminded that your child must complete all of his or her service hours by May 16, 2018.  We will have our final collection of hours in homeroom on that day.

Sophomores must complete and turn in 15 hours, and juniors must complete and turn in 20 hours.

Any student who is mandated to make up service hours on these days and fails to attend will receive INCOMPLETES as final grades until the hours are made up.

In the upcoming weeks, we will be continually notifying students of service hour opportunities (an entire list of agencies that offer service hours to high school students can be found on our website), and we will be informing students when they have successfully completed their hours.

If you have any questions regarding service hours, please email Ms. Perry Rogers at [email protected].
