Faculty Spotlight, John Creech

John Creech began teaching and coaching at De La Salle in the fall of 2013. He teaches world history and world geography in a way that students feel engaged and eager to learn. He is the defensive coordinator for the football team and helped lead the team to an undefeated season and a strong showing in the semi-finals. This spring he is coaching the De La Salle golf team. The team is consistently growing and improving.
“Coach Creech instructs his classes in his unique oratorical style, and his students truly enjoy his courses.  He has a real knack for placing historical events into modern context to enhance the lesson and make his subject material more relevant to his students.” –Principal, Paul Kelly ’83
John attended Ashford University, where he earned his B.A. in Education. Outside of De La Salle, John enjoys golfing.
