Edline Issues with Internet Explorer

There is an issue accessing Edline using Internet Explorer causing the left menu to disappear.  Edlines suggested resolution is to add edline.net to the Compatibility View Settings by clicking on the little gear in the upper right of Internet Explorer, choosing the Compatibility View Settings option, and adding Edline.net to the list in the Compatibility View Settings dialogue box that appears.
Alternatively a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome can be used without changing the default settings.
