Dr. Michael Guillot

The executive and administrative leadership of De La Salle is saddened to announce that Dr. Michael Guillot suffered a stroke Sunday morning.  Dr. Guillot’s condition is currently stable, and he is receiving excellent care at the hospital.  The hospital is presently requesting visits be restricted to family only.  The Board of Trustees has taken emergency action to name Dr. Myles Seghers as interim President and Paul Kelly as interim Principal so that the school’s instruction and activities will be maintained without interruption.  One of the core Lasallian values is “belief in the presence of God.”  Faith in the power of prayer is a major premise to this belief.  Consequently, the school will continually include Dr. Guillot and his family in its prayers, and we encourage others to do the same.
