Cavalier Marching Band Performs at Normandy Bell Ceremony
on Veterans Day

De La Salle's Cavalier Marching Band played at the World War II Museum on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2009, during the presention of the Normandy Liberty Bell by the French Government and the "French Will Never Forget" organization. The Normandy Liberty Bell is an exact replica of America's Liberty Bell located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. De La Salle's Color Guard will also preform.

The choice of De La Salle's award-winning Cavalier Marching Band was based on the school's strong and historic relationship with the counrty of France and its people. the school' founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle (1651-1719), was born and raised in Reims, France.

The Cavalier Marching Band is proud to have played a part in this historic moment in the city's history.
