Through extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, students are provided with an educational experience outside the classroom. By offering a wide array of activities, De La Salle students discover new interests and further develop their abilites. Students are encouraged to become involved in one or more of these activities and are also encouraged to support all De La Salle activities by their presence and participation. De La Salle students participate in academic, spiritual, and social programs as well as organizations dedicated to community service, fine arts and personal leadership.
Policies Students must remember that they are part of the De La Salle High School Community even when they are not in school. Every student must take pride in the school and demonstrate this pride in acting and dressing appropriately at any De La Salle event, on or off campus. Unacceptable dress or behavior may result in a student's being denied permission to remain at a function. In case of grave irregularity, further disciplinary action will be taken.
School Dances School dances and Proms are always closed functions for De La Salle students and their dates. Students are expected to comply with the regulations governing dances. Students who leave a De La Salle dance will not be allowed to return to the dance. All students who attend a DLS dance whether enrolled or not are expected to comply with all regulations.
Fair Ticket Policy Students are expected to help contribute to the success of the school fair (Fais Do Do) through the selling of a specific number of raffle tickets. Students are rewarded for this effort with a "fair" holiday from school. Students who do not sell the required amount of tickets must make their contribution by attending school on the holiday and helping to clean up the school grounds.
