Boys Basketball Has Plenty to Play For on Monday

The Cavaliers basketball team does not completely control its own destiny on Monday, but winning their game on Monday )at home versus Sarah Reed 12:00 PM) can go a long way to securing their second consecutive playoff appearance.
If the Cavaliers win their game and Miller-McCoy defeats Eleanor McMain, the Cavaliers will finish in a four way tie for the district championship along with Miller-McCoy and McMain, and Lusher, who as already completed their district schedule.

If the Cavaliers win and Eleanor McMain wins, McMain will capture the district championship.  This will leave the Cavaliers tied with Lusher for second place in district.

According to LHSAA by-laws for basketball, all first and second place ties must be broken for playoff seeding purposes.  These playoffs will be determined at the conclusion of Mondays games.  Please check back late Monday for the latest information regarding the playoff schedules.
