If you attend a Catholic elementary school, you will receive the Archdiocesan Application Form from your school principal on November 10th. Your school principal will send us your school records, transcripts, and standardized test results. You must complete and return this application to your school principal by November 12th. Your school will forward your records to De La Salle on November 14th.

If you do not attend a Catholic elementary school, you must obtain either a De La Salle application and an Archdiocesan Application in the De La Salle student lobby on November 10th, or download and send each one to De La Salle High School.  The DLS application is also available online at www.delasallenola.com/admissions. The Archdiocesan Application can be found at www.arch-no.org on Novemeber 10. You are responsible for obtaining the required records from your school and forwarding them to De La Salle.


All students applying to De La Salle must attend Application Day on January 11th. Letters of acceptance will be mailed in February.


Required Documents submitted to De La Salle for Admissions:

  • $20 Application fee (non-refundable)
  • Recent photo of the student. (non-returnable)
  • A copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • Social Security card
  • Complete immunization record.
  • An official copy of standardized test scores and most recent report card.
  • An official copy of final transcript for the previous school year, as well as for the previous 2 years.
  • Any evaluations the student has received.
  • Parent(s), please explain why you feel De La Salle is the best school for your child. (Typed, no more than one page.  Three or four sentences will suffice)
  • Prospective Student, please tell us why you wish to become a part of the De La Salle family and how you plan to participate in school sports, clubs or activities. (Typed, no more than one page.  Three or four sentences will suffice)

 

After receiving your application, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed until all required documents are submitted.  Parents of applicants will be contacted via phone or via mail to whether or not there child will proceed with an interview process. Unfortunately, not every qualified applicant can be admitted.

Transfer Applications 

De La Salle accepts transfer student applications for students entering into sophomore and junior years.   Transfer applications are handled on an individual basis. We are unable to predict how many spots there might be from year to year.
